Maria Magdalene et altera Maria emerunt aromata
ut venientes ungerent Iesum.
Et valde mane una Sabbatorum
veniunt ad monumentum
orto iam sole, alleluia.

Secunda pars

Et introeuntes in monumentum
viderunt iuvenem sedentem in dextris
coopertum stola candida
et obstupuerunt.
Qui dicit illis:
'Iesum quem queritis Nazarenum cruxifixum:
surrexit, non est hic.
Ecce locus ubi posuerunt eum.' Alleluia.

Prima pars

Maria Magdalena y la otra María compraron perfumes
y fueron a ungir a Jesús.
Y muy temprano una mañana de sábado
llegan al sepulcro,
cuando ya ha salido el sol, aleluya.

Secunda pars

Aleluya”.

Prima pars

Mary Magdalene and the other Mary brought spices
so that they might anoint Jesus's body.
And very early on the Sabbath,
they came to the tomb,
just after sunrise. Alleluia.

Secunda pars

Entering the tomb,
they saw a young man sitting on the right side
dressed in a white robe,
and they were amazed.
He said to them:
"You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified:
he has risen, he is not here.
Look, there is the place they laid him." Alleluia.
