Edition notes: This carol is given in short score in R. H. Heath's Cornish Carols, Part I.

In that source, the first verse of text is underlaid between the staves, with additional fragments of this verse above and below the staves to indicate the word fit for the different parts. A further two verses of text are printed after the music. In this edition, the voice parts have been split out to open score, and all three verses of text have been underlaid in full.
