Description: The melody of this hymn is used in many hymn books for a Marian song with the title "Wunderschön prächtige". The music is a zestful menuet, which inspired me to underlay a different text, thereby transforming it into a hymn suitable for the Sanctus.

Heilig ist unser Gott / Der Herr Gott Zebaoth /
Herr der Heerscharen der englischen Pracht.
Erdkreis und Himmelsbahn / sind seiner Schöpfung Plan /
Künden von seiner unendlichen Macht.

Alles was lebet / Alles was strebet /
Jauchzet mit Freuden und jubelt ihm zu:
"Du unser Herr und Gott, heilig bist Du!"
