Description: A canon 3 in 1 at the unison. This work was included, without attribution, in Henry Playford’s “Introduction to the skill of music” (volume 3 page 169). Playford professed that his publication drew heavily on Henry Purcell’s work. It includes several other works known to be by Purcell. It seems likely that “Laudate Deum” is by Purcell and that “Laudate Dominum”, number Z 108 in the Zimmerman catalogue, is an error.
