Title: Missa 'Congratulamini mihi' à 6

Composer: Orlando di Lasso

Date of request: 2004-04-22

Requested by: Paolo Ramacciotti

Additional notes: It would be beautiful to find (finally) the score of such a masterpiece, that rings continously in my ears since I heard it in 1998, in the powerful rendition by Mc Creesh with the Gabrieli's (apparently the only existing recording of the piece).

The version sung in the "Venetian easter mass" CD (Archiv) was edited by Prof. Jon Dixon; at the moment it seems there is no published version in the shops (even after an accurate Internet search). Please help me... I absolutely must have knowledge of how the flemish genius did the astonishing counterpoint of the Hosanna!

There now appears to be a version for sale at http://www.edition-mp.com/editions.html?key=C077. --Vaarky 11:16, 30 August 2008 (PDT)
