Bug?

Right now the Antoine de Févin page has the message:

The following are not listed above; probably a new SortWorks command is needed: Lamentations Lesson 1 for Maundy Thursday

but it is in fact included in the SortWorks output. hmm... Richard Mix (talk) 20:28, 30 September 2017 (UTC)

I looked at the Antoine de Févin page, and the message wasn't there. The work in question was recently added (about two hours before your message); apparently the system hadn't quite caught up. Often refreshing the page helps. I will see what can be done to prevent this. – Barry Johnston (talk) 23:11, 30 September 2017 (UTC)
Thanks, that's reassuring.Richard Mix (talk) 00:34, 1 October 2017 (UTC)

A Byrd mystery

User:Mick Swithinbank alerted me that there's a work page Domine quis habitabit (William Byrd) that falls through the CheckMissing cracks on the composer page William Byrd, even though it's in Category:William Byrd compositions. I can see how to hand add it, but don't understand what went wrong, or what confidence to have that we're not missing others too. Richard Mix (talk) 22:19, 10 February 2020 (UTC)

Another one, discovered via Request:Quomodo cantabimus (William Byrd).
The William Byrd page uses SortWorks only for secular music; sacred music has to be manually added. This is not a good situation, and tends to cause problems with programs like CheckMissing. I did a cursory check: there seem to be more entries on the composer page (318) than in the category (309). I will check a little more later — Barry Johnston (talk) 02:22, 22 October 2020 (UTC)
I created William Byrd/Automated to help a little in the process, I hope. — Barry Johnston (talk) 16:32, 22 October 2020 (UTC)
