Luxembourgish text Aus dem Himmelssall ass e Stir gefall vun der Éiwegkeet an ons Zäit a Leed dank dem Herrgott a Maria. Eng onschëlleg Rous dréit e fromm am Schouss bis säi Glanz duerchstraalt wat do lieft a waalt dank dem Herrgott a Maria. Fridde kënnt an d’Welt wuer säi Liicht hifällt; aus all Häerz an Heem gett e Bethlehem dank dem Herrgott a Maria. Vun dem Liicht geleet, gi mir duerch all Leed aus dem Äerdendall an den Himmelssall bei den Herrgott a Maria. English translation From heaven’s halls a star fell, from eternity into our times and this vale of tears, thanks to God and Mary. An innocent rose meekly bears him in her womb until his radiance shines on everything that exists, thanks to God and Mary. Peace comes to the world wherever his light falls; every heart and home becomes a Bethlehem thanks to God and Mary. Led by the light, we pass through all suffering, from the earthly valley into heaven’s halls to be with God and Mary.
